My name is Dawn, and I’m the founder of this small, heartfelt rescue in South Oxhey, WD19, Hertfordshire. What started as a quiet determination to help one abandoned cat has grown into a full commitment to giving stray, sick, and forgotten felines a second chance at the loving forever homes they so deserve. (Yes, it’s been a labour of love — and often a rather furry one!)

Every cat or kitten that comes through our doors receives the very best start we can give them: a thorough veterinary health check, microchipping for safety, at least their first vaccination, and full flea and worm treatments to keep them comfortable and healthy. For those who have reached around 2kg or more, we ensure they are spayed or neutered before they go on to their new adventures — because responsible rehoming is at the very core of what we do.

We’re not a large organisation with endless resources; we’re a dedicated, charity-registered rescue (Charity 1199095) run with passion, careful home checks, and adoption fees that help cover the costs of veterinary care and ongoing support. I take great care in matching our KKR fur babies with the right families — because each one of these little souls has already been through enough, and they deserve homes where they’ll be truly cherished, safe, and spoiled for the rest of their nine lives. We generally rehome cats and kittens in pairs (or sometimes with an existing compatible cat) to help them stay happy, confident, and settled — unless their individual adoption page states otherwise.

Donations are hugely welcomed and make such a real difference to the cats in our care — every pound helps with vet bills, food, litter, and all the little (and big) things that keep our rescue running. As a registered charity, we can claim Gift Aid on eligible donations, which adds an extra 25% at no cost to you — just tick the box or let us know when you donate. We also love our wonderful monthly contributors; setting up a regular gift, however small, provides the steady support we need to plan ahead and help more cats. Whether it’s a one-off boost or ongoing help, your kindness truly changes lives.
